The purpose of this paper is to study the creation of Chinese brush painting, Firstly, I concentrate on creative concepts, painting analysis, and literature review. Then, I apply them to the creative process and techniques. Finally, I am engaged in the continuous dialogue between my subjective emotions and objects. My aim is the unity of the mind and soul, through creation that appeals to both high culture and popular taste.
The theme and style of the 21 works on flowers, birds, and fowls display my deep realization of life, and profound feelings of objects. The works have three sections: landscape series called "Interest in Wilderness," window view series called "State, Tranquility, and Mirror,” and finally mental image series.
In the process of creating my brush painting, I observe the organic plants in Yangmingshan National Park. I manage to convert what I see into paintings, both objectively, and subjectively, with delicate affections. I hope to go from the traditional to the digital, using both ink and mixed media, for free and unfettered creation. I also hope to recreate the vision that reflects my individual ideals, along with the quality of endlessness and elegance.
