The digital audio-visual streaming system for doctoral and master's electronic thesis of the National Central Library aims to build a database for the preservation of digital audio-visual thesis works and support cross-platform/device playback.
The digital audio-visual streaming system is a database for the preservation of digital thesis, and is interfaced with the National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations to provide audio, video, images or any thesis works presented in digital format. The thesis work in audio-visual format in this platform will be converted by the system to support playback on a variety of devices, such as PCs, notebooks, tablets, and mobile phones. Responsive web design is adopted and therefore the resolution and display will be automatically adjusted according to the operating system and the screen size of the device, reducing user's actions such as zooming in, sliding or scrolling the content of the webpage while using the system to provide the most convenient service for our users.
