The remains of different generations of ancient architecture resulted from a rich and exciting history . In the midst of the modern urban jungle, the synergy and contrast are intertwined with the old and the new and embody the cultural spirit of the nation and the memory of history shared by the masses .

　This research thesis’ theme is "Recalling Past Glories and Embodying Humanities and Culture", which originates from the author’s personal fascination in the rich humanities and beauty contained in ancient architecture. Through in-depth observation and experience, the original images are transformed from objective to subjective. Through the application of painting techniques and the use of various forms of modeling concepts and visual imaging, the profound cultural connotation of ancient architectures is revitalized with diverse styles and reminiscent of profound feeling and expression.

　This thesis is divided into five chapters for analysis and discussion: Chapter One is an introduction, which states the author’s personal research motivation and purpose, content and methodology, scope and limitation, and definition of terminology. Chapter Two is an overview of the historical background and shape of ancient architectures within the scope of the study in order to understand the symbolic meaning of the structure and master its characteristics. The chapter further discusses famous Chinese and Western architects of old structure s and their painting works for personal creative support and learning reference. From the study of art theory and literature analysis, Chapter Three details the form and the connotation of creating these paintings that served as the basis for the author’s creations . Chapter Four explores traditional sketching, in a ddition to different forms and media to creae the author’s personal creative language and style , which can be categorized into three series: "Reminiscent Sketching series", "Reconstruction series", and "Imaging the Humanities and Culture Series". Chapter Five, the conclusion, closes with the author’s personal ideas and reflections from the creation and r esearch process, while reevaluating the future trajectory of the author’s work and aspects to improved upon , in the pursuit of capturing the essence of the subject.
