Origin of the work is from a question and an experiment based on author’s own perspective toward society. The author via a form of video art to illustrate some differences of things and essences in everyday life and we view those as convention without discrepancy. Based on this, the film is to discuss two ways of seeing: From being to substance and from substance to being and then to explore a reflection of being.
The work is divided into three parts. First, “Recombination” is to stimulate audiences to reconsider the relationship of seeing toward substance and to examine what the existence is through an action of touch. Second, “Alien” is to discuss an impact between beings and alienated individuals and to represent the record of performance art. Third, “A part of me” is to make the leading character to face own self and further to become an integer self.
