Implosion comes from communication theory of Jean Baudrillard and Herbert Marshall McLuhan, which talks about simulacra and copy without original of new media leading to information inaccuracy and implosion between reality and vision created by media. This article will take "Implosion" as main scheme, going through three different sections of creation and respective effects resulting from Implosion of each section. By analyzing work structure and content, it better clarifies concept behind this creation and expands possibility of future development.
First, by recalling the origins of creation, the author summarized the impulses, needs and instincts behind the creation. As a female, the author managed to communicate with the society through creation in the subconscious, and transform from self-frustration into motivation, from passive role in patriarchy society into positive role, to complete the dialogue between herself and the contemporary .
Through criticism for emerging media content information, it examines her role and attitude and presents the most authentic works. The author's creation travels between psychological narrative of abstract painting and referent of figurative media, interspersed with symbols of ready-made objects, and presents the concept of multi-dimensional space in the picture, so that materials and objects would integrate, exclude, shuttle, jump and complicate with each other; perception of disorders creates the feeling of being in the age of information explosion. The article quotes works of Robert Rauschenberg, Barnett Newman and Julie Mehretu in order to discuss combination of the abstract and the figurative, how to incorporate the two opposite patterns into the paintings, and the significance of doing so.
Finally, analyze the work pattern to understand the metaphor of the creation. Study its historical background, religious meaning, reason and evolution of techniques. Use ready-made media objects, classic symbols and religious image to criticize invisible shackles enforced by new media and environment and reflect how respond in such scenario, thereby trying to explore necessity of creation and peace of mind.
