This study, entitled “The Study of Ink Painting: Brush Strokes and the Mountain Image”, attempted to convey the concern for the environment and ecology via every brush stroke of each painting. The author has observed the various appearances of nature. The western coast of Taiwan presents a diverse ecosystem. It is rich in benthos and has representative species of natural flora and fauna, so it exhibits a unique ecological beauty. However, accumulations of climate change and destruction have led to frequent natural disasters. It is hoped that more people will pay close attention to the natural environment where the organism will quickly disappear.

We should cherish and protect beautiful creatures.

In Chapter Two, she presented theoretical and conceptual frameworks which were employed by this study. The frameworks also served as a foundation for exploring the differences between Chinese and Western aesthetics. Moreover, in Chapter Three, she was inspired by the wonders of nature. Therefore, she attempted to bring a vivid world to life with a few simple brush strokes and decoration. In Chapter 4, she has begun a series of self-exploration and experiments, as shown in her works, such as Ecological Waterfront, Atmosphere, and Mental Imagery. It is hoped that the incredible beauty are demonstrated through these works.

Nature provides the inspiration for artists who use highly colored detailed brushstrokes and usually depict figural or narrative subjects. The beauty in nature is endless. The artistic conception results from the blending of various picturesque scenarios. Therefore, artists always render each brush stroke in a continuous, rhythmic

movement so that the depicted subjects show vitality and spirit.
