The thesis contents the discussion of two pieces in “WU YI CHEN’s Electronic Music Composition Recital”, including the main ideas of the music, employment of computer technology and the analysis of the two pieces. Chapter one introduces the creation of music, the motivation of research, and the influence of music technology. Chapter two is about the expression of music and technique, the analysis and comparison the technique of the traditional instruments. Chapter three, includes the analysis of music form, instrument technique, sonic gesture, and spectrum. Chapter fourth is the conclusion and reflection of the thesis.
