In terms of film category, this essay will focus on the comparative analysis of a few classic American and European road movies, discussing the commonality of road movie’s form of expression and underlying themes.

In terms of subject of this film, the discussion will be around Taiwan being an aging society where home care of the elderly has become an increasing challenge, as well as my attempt to integrate the social issues in the creation of the film.
