Stravinsky:Firebird-- Analysis and Interpretation
The study includes five chapters. The research motivation and Igor Stravinsky ‘brief biography will be illustrated in chapter one. In chapter two, author analyses “Firebird Suit” of nine conductors’s recording, and judging their interpretation whether close to the Stravinsky’s core concept or not. In chapter three, author discusses the musical form. It’s not a traditional form, and comprised of motivation and theme. Author hope we can understand what the composer arrange and his ingenuity through this chapter. In chapter four, we discuss how to use conduct technique and interpret precisely, and make orchestra members direction exactly. In the last chapter, we could see summing up the study of author’s opinion and the point of every chapters.
