This thesis is focused on the concert program “Ching-Yu Mo Violin Recital”, especially on the aspects of the composer himself, compositional background, musical style, musical content and other relevant viewpoints. With the aid of the above, the author can perform the program with a precise interpretation and comprehension.
The solo recital program includes Violin Sonatina in D Major, D.384 of F. Schubert, Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35 of E. W. Korngold, Violin Sonata No.2 in A Major, Op.100 of J. Brahms and Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op.28 of C. Saint-Saëns.
