This article is talking about the interpretation of Beethoven’s Sonata for Piano and Violin in D major, Op.12, No.1. Basically, the range of this essay included his life and early style, the evolution and state of the Violin Sonata between 17 and 18 century, and the analysis of this work. The performance interpretation will discuss by analyzing the mark of slur, staccato and the dynamic. Also, the writer is going to do compare and contrast with the slur and the staccato mark between both instruments so that present the interpretation concept of this piece.
