This essay is an interpretation of two Chun Chuan HU’s recital. Hu specialized in playing both double bass and electric bass. First show Hu played double bass with Dark Eyes Gypsy Jazz Band trio; there are violin, gypsy guitar in the rest of the band. It was a great challenge to play and arrange since there was no other rhythmic instrument like drums or other guitars in the performance. Hu played electric bass in the second performance. He played music by some great bassist such as Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller and Jaco Pastorious and played solely with BOSS RC-300 loop station
