This thesis focuses on the analysis and interpretation of a conducting degree concert. featuring Stravinsky's "Octet for Winds" as the first piece, Schubert's "Symphony No. 8 in B minor, Unfinished" as the second piece, and Chopin's "Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor" as the third piece.

The thesis is divided into three chapters: The first chapter is Concert Program Planning Philosophy: introduction to my research motivations, scopes and the direction for selecting musical pieces.The second chapter is Musical Analysis and Interpretation: providing segmented summaries of each piece, it briefly composer's biography, the background of the composition, the structure of the movements and the piece, as well as their compositional techniques and characteristics. Additionally, it offers personal performance interpretation suggestions from the author.The third chapter is the conclusion.
