Li-Hsing Chang Piano Recital

The repertoire of this concert covers four periods: Classical, Romantic, Impression, and Modern. For these four periods, representative composers and their distinctive works are selected, namely Mozart ( Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791) "Piano Fantasia in D minor", Franz Liszt (1811-1886) "The Year of the Tour, First Year of Switzerland" I., II., IX. Three, Chopin ( Franciszek Chopin 1810-1849) "Bargain in F-sharp major", "Engraving" by Achille-Claude Debussy (1862-1918), "Three Preludes for Piano" by George Gershwin (1898-1937) ". The five composers belong to different periods and have different composing styles, so the works they create have different styles.

Mozart, Austrian composer, composer and pianist of the classical period, and Haydn (Joseph Haydn, 1732-1809), Beethoven (Ludwing van Beethoven, 1770-1827) are listed as the three giants of classical music at the end of the eighteenth century . Mozart's piano works are characterized by key touch skills and timbre control. The touch keys should be concentrated, brisk and vivid, and the timbre should be clean, round and shiny. Chopin, a Polish composer and pianist, is known as a "piano poet". Most of his musical works are mainly piano pieces, and most of them are in the form of character pieces. Chopin is good at using a natural rhythm called "elastic speed" (Tempo rutabo) to express the melody like a song, the harmony is rich, the melody is fresh and full of Polonaise style.

Liszt, a Hungarian composer and pianist, is one of the main representatives of the romantic music school. The style of his piano works is gorgeous technique and dazzling performance. Liszt's piano playing skills and improvisation ability have earned him the reputation of "The King of the Piano". This concert is selected from three works in Switzerland in the first year of Liszt's tour. Unlike other dazzling works, Liszt created under the influence of nature and literature and art.

Debussy, French composer, one of the most influential composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Impressionism has a completely abstract and transcendental color, and Debussy was deeply influenced by it, and gradually used these creative inspirations in his works. He is also good at using composition techniques such as the diatonic scale and the Chinese pentatonic scale, and became a representative of the Impressionist School in the early 20th century.

Gershwin, American composer. Gaishiwen combined the three styles of classical music, jazz and blues, and wrote a large number of pop songs and dozens of cabaret performances and musicals, creating a unique music style in the United States.
