Painting is full of charm because it not only expresses one’s inner world but also satisfies one’s endless expectations by means of creation and super-real imagination, which is full of tension and futurity.

As lotus flowers stand out from the mud without being polluted and demonstrate a noble quality, they are widely loved by people. Inspired by my love of the true nature of lotus flowers, I intend to conduct a study on their growth, shape, gesture, and symbolism. I collect and analyze relevant data and information through observations, research on the painting methods in the past generations, interviews of contemporary painters and study on painting mediums. Based on this foundation, I meditate and interpret the limitless vitality of life and the Earth through the lines, shapes, and the creation of the spatial structure with such painting elements as stokes, ink, color and multimedia.

Art is boundless. By taking full advantage of the hybrid media of ink and color and through different expressions such as realism, impressionism, representation and abstraction, painters are able to express their feelings and implications by making close connections between man and man, man and nature, and nature and nature. They also reflect deeply on the mind, thinking, the era, and culture and integrate their creative concepts in life to present touching artistic lexicons. Meanwhile, they also combine the spirit of beautiful Chinese culture and the contemporary aesthetic styles for self-breakthroughs and an extension of the study and of creation.
