This thesis consists of three parts: 1. the program notes of the Solo Recital. 2. the program notes of the Performance Recital written. 3. the conference paper.

The program notes of the Solo Recital includes: J. S. Bach: The Well-Tempered Clavier Ⅱ, Prelude and Fugue in d minor, BWV 875, L. v. Beethoven: Piano Sonata in E-flat major, Op. 7, F. Poulenc: Napoli Suite pour piano, G. Fauré: Impromptu No. 3 in A-flat major, Op. 34, A. Ginastera: Danzas Argentinas, Op. 2.

The program notes of the performance Recital include: F. Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1 in e minor, Op. 11, M. Balakirev: Suite for Four Hands.

The object of study in this paper is Danzas Argentinas, Op. 2 composed by A. Ginastera. This paper consists of five chapters: a preface, an introduction to the composer's life and works, composer's style and staging, the creation background of "Danzas Argentinas, Op. 2", to probe into the composing techniques and music style, a review of the stylistic features of the work with a study of interpretation in performance.
