《A Dialogue with Plants》is a collection of ceramics that draws inspiration from the diverse form of plants. It uses the shapes of grass, wood, flowers, leaves, fruits and seeds in ceramics art. It is a well-known fact that humans have long looked to nature as a basis of their innovation, observing and learning from its development. This collection observes the diverse form of plants, including its shape, structure, life cycles and various organs. It hopes to bring awareness to our senses and imagination through the observation of nature, and to create emotional resonance.
We hope that 《A Dialogue with Plants》would lead to further exploration on the enrichment of people’s lives through art, and contribute to the discourse of modern ceramics, as well as the needs of modern society. It is my hope to develop personal style in ceramics in this collection, and to bring warmth and to society through a conversation between art and plants.
