Stones, as common material entities in the natural world, appear solid and static; however, from the perspective of Buddhism, stones possess profound symbolic significance that can guide individuals in exploring the path of self-discovery. This article aims to explore how people can draw wisdom from stones to pursue self-growth and inner awakening. By analyzing the characteristics of stones, Buddhist philosophical teachings, and insights from modern psychology, this paper will reveal the importance of stones in self-exploration and discuss how stones can serve as a powerful symbol to inspire inner growth and awakening.

Chinese ink painting emphasizes the pursuit of artistic expression characterized by "vibrant qi" and "transcendent artistic conception," striving to embody the way of nature and transcend physical forms. Stones, as products of nature, embody rich imagery and intrinsic beauty in their texture and form. Integrating Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhist philosophies with personal reflections on life, the author interprets the significance of stones in relation to self-improvement and the path to becoming as steadfast as a stone. Employing techniques of ink painting, the author depicts the texture and colors of stones to create an abstract and harmonious artistic atmosphere, allowing viewers to experience the power of nature and the depth of philosophy.
