With its economic boom in recent years, pottery, floriculture, gardening and planting also flourish in Taiwan. However, human living space becomes increasingly narrow and crowded because of the advancements in civilization and excessive exploitation makes green lands gradually to be replaced by tall buildings so that the dimensions of the green are reduced slowly by large changes in environment. Therefore, afforestation and beautification needs become a top priority. This study attempts to extend to the performance of creative design by combining pottery flower containers with horticulture planting and environmental greening and takes both practical features and artistic quality into considerations with the aim of enhancing successful combination of flower containers shape and flower planting, based on a natural style with a material accorded to the environmentally friendly concept used repeatedly as the first choice for the core of creative development .
The change in lifestyle makes people stay indoors for more and more time. Most people today live in a crowded city; life becomes busy and intense; relaxation at home becomes an urgent need. People wish to make stressful life relaxed because of greenery and make living space comfortable with happy pleasure through the changes in home environment in hope of converting life experiences and things on mind into creative design of artistic form in order to improve life quality and life value.
