《Between Us》describes a mother who has suffered from the traumas in her

childhood ,facing the“adopted daughter” identification from herself. The disturbing

experiences associated with her foster mother, and leads to long-term neurosis. The mother

has had a harmful influence on the communication of her own daughter. However, her

daughter had accompanied her until she realized a real meaning of FAMILY. Gradually,both

of them released from the darkness ,and returned to the sea where she was born, a wonderful

land hidden in her bottom of heart.

This is not only a report of creative work but also a healing ceremony in privacy

to me. And what's more,it is dedicated to my mother. 《Between Us》is based on my

mom’s story. It is hoped that the audience will be inspired,and then re-examined the

struggle between the light and darkness.It is dark and sure to be be dispersed by the

light.

This thesis is composed of five chapters. The first chapter, introduces the origin of

creations of this script and the transformation of my inner feeling. The second chapter,

explains the“adopted daughter” identification and the impact of miserable experiences in

childhood. Chapter three, description of creations, explains the framework and keynote of

creations of this whole film. Chapter four, execution method of creations, records the process

of making this film. The last chapter, performance and conclusion, expresses the impact and

response to those who has viewed this film and concludes my personal impressions.

The script of film, expenditure, seminar after the preview, and the script are in the

appendices. In addition, the difficulties and the resolutions have been documented. May this

experience serve as a reference for my creative works in the future.
