The author of this master's thesis will delve into the compositional ideas, material usage, compositional techniques, and music theory behind the four original works composed during author’s graduate studies. Additionally, the thesis will explain how the author's works were inspired and influenced by various contemporary compositional techniques.

The four original music pieces in this thesis include: "Coexistence”, a sound installation piece that the performer interacts with an Arduino pressure sensing device is based on the imagery of the eight trigrams of the I Ching incorporated into the music; "Polar", a four-channel electronic music piece that is built with sound as the main idea and features the sound of the MicroBrute synthesizer as the main material; "Moise", a sixteen-channel electronic music piece that manipulates various vocal sounds through computer modulation techniques to create sounds that cannot be produced naturally, while still retaining identity of sound; and "Resonance", which combines instrumental performance with live electronic music and features the Australian indigenous instrument, the didgeridoo, with real-time sound processing through Max/MSP .

The thesis is divided into five chapters: Chapter 1, "Introduction," discusses the history of electronic music, auditory perception, and performance techniques. Chapter 2, "Creative Concepts," describes the background and creative concepts behind the four original works. Chapter 3, "Exploration of Electronic Music Techniques," delves into the techniques and technology used in electronic music creation. Chapter 4, "Music Analysis," provides a detailed analysis of the sound modulation techniques used in the four original works, as well as their sound, structure, and posture. Finally, Chapter 5, "Conclusion and Reflection," summarizes the thesis and provides reflections on the future development of electronic music.
