With the title, Existence ── Hsu Wei-Lu's Creative Discourse, this thesis analyzes and explores my creative line of thinking in ceramics, the processes of experimentation, and the works I created from 2011 to 2015.

Beginning with my own sense of anxiety, along with the shattering, the chaos, and the alienation in my own life experiences, the paper then proceeds to analyze the independence and reality of anxiety's existence through the discussion of philosophy and literature, as well as works of art as reiterations and explorations. In terms of the work, corporeality is used as a tool, while definitions of time, the flowing deformation of materials, and the role played by the weakening of the ego comprise the core structure. Through ceramics creation, an attempt is made to present anxiety itself, from private to shared invisible fields.

Finally, the hope is that through this thesis and epoch-encoded serial creative works, such as Micro Land, 2012-1 and others, a public venue for interaction and exchange on anxiety is provided vis-à-vis the self and social spaces.
