In post-romantic music, the melody lines are less constrained, the pursuit of harmony color and sound intensity, and I especially like to use other than music as the theme of the work. -1911) and six art songs by Alma Mahler (1879-1964). The post-romantic composer couple wrote their own unique movements for the German art songs at that time with their own creative methods, showing the unique style of German art songs in the nineteenth century. The six songs with the theme of love are created by the poets Lukete, Falke, Rilke, and Heine. The two composers use notes to describe flowers, trees, or fragrance to describe their lover's expression, and link to a new page of new music in the 20th century.
There are seven chapters in this article. Three of Mahler ’s works are selected from 《Rückert-Lieder》, 〈Ich atmet einen linden Duft〉,〈Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen〉, 〈Liebst du um Schönheit〉, and Alma work three preferred from 《Fünf Lieder》, 〈Laue Sommernacht〉、〈Bei dir ist es Traut〉、〈Ich wandle unter Blumen〉. Mainly from the life of the Mahlers and his wife to discuss the creation methods and styles of their art songs, and sing all to reflect the characteristics of these six art songs in the post-romantic period.
