There are only three violin sonatas recorded and published in Brahm's life. This these is trying to discuss about the latese of three violin sonatas but the composition of the music is the most gigantic –namely, the Piano and Violin Sonata No. 3 Op. 108 in D Minor. In order to realize the background of this sonata and know the composition stle of Brahms intially, the writer especially wrote chapter two to explore. Via comparing and analyzing three violin sonatas, you could find that the Brahm's composition style is classicism actually, however, he was the person in romanticism.
