Given the rapid growth of computers and the internet in recent years, new forms of media art with more types of expressions are created. The near maturity of realistic rendering of computer artist can not longer satisfy the demands towards visual picture of the creator. This phenomenon has led to the creation of non-realistic rendering. Thus, this creativity study hopes to create different types of visual experiences and style through the elements derived from the integration of Motion Graphics graphic design.

Norman McLaren’s most representative words are “Animation if not the art of “Moving Pictures”, but is the art of “motion that is drawn”. Therefore, animation management is “to manipulate the invisible action between pictures to picture”; the dynamic itself is the source of strength in animation! It is through the invisible force between frames to frame that the inner words and language of the creator are interpreted. Therefore, the topic of this creative study is to discuss the visual effects fermented from the combination of Motion Graphics and 3D computer animation. By introducing different thinking to vitalize and ferment the influence of the integration of Motion Graphics and 3D computer animation to lead the creation of new visual style and concepts.

This creative work 《In Search of a Midnight》uses the busy urban lifestyle as its theme to express the important things ignored because of being too busy in the busy urban lifestyle. By integrating computer animations with Motion Graphics, we hope that the audience can once again review the importance of the self and care about their families, life, people and things in their lives.
