Taiwanese fruit is the part of Taiwanese culture, we also make it into calendar we need for everyday life. Putting some information and characteristics of Taiwanese fruit into calendar to spread it. However, calendar in the market is presented by photos, and it’s also in the same layout.

To let the fruit calendar have multiple changes, this research chose auspicious cultures that is one of Taiwan’s cultural characteristics as a combination. Through the introduction of the auspicious language, it brings a deeper meaning to the fruit, so that the fruit is not just a kind of fruit, but it is a prayer to the gods or gifts for friends, it is the blessing for the future.

“Taiwanese auspicious fruit” is the core for this research. To discuss about the given auspicious meaning from the history, find the connection, and present the diversity of Taiwanese fruit and the cultural characteristics of auspicious meaning. Through literature collection and case analysis, samples of the representative fruit of the auspicious language, and the development of high-quality cases on the market, through the analysis, summed up the advantages of the case, and as a reference element for the research.

We name the design topic " Great Fruits Calendar, means "Good Fruit Calendar",it has meaning “better than the day” with Taiwanese.

We change the design by using illustration for main picture in the calendar,and add further explains surround.We find two series styles via twelve different creations,and we decide name them " Great Fruits " and " Great Fruits ". We hope publicize Taiwanese fruits even understand more cultural knowledges and characteristics of Taiwanese fruits .
