The purpose of this paper is to explore the meaning and connotation of “Chinese New Year elegant objects paintings”, and to use the connotation of Chinese New Year elegant objects paintings and the related discourse on the context of the Koji pottery process as the theoretical basis for the creation and research of the Koji pottery. Therefore, the creative concept includes the impression of the Chinese New Year elegant objects paintings and the festival, interpreting the author's emotions about festival customs, scenery and symbols, and extending the form of expression through the author's own concept and the characteristics of the Koji pottery. This paper is divided into five chapters, chapter 1, Introduction, describes the motivation and purpose of the research, the content of the research and the explanation of the methodology. The chapter 2, the theoretical basis, analyzes the connotation and origin of the Chinese New Year elegant objects paintings and its aesthetic connotation, and explains the inspiration for creation. In chapter 3, the composition and craftsmanship of the work, through on-site investigation, the relevant Koji pottery works are recorded, and the craftsmen's performance of the theme, composition, layout, color and production techniques of the works is understood, and the creative elements that are closest to the author are found, so as to enrich the appearance of the works. In the chapter 4, the creative practice is elaborated, and the meaning and expression of the work are analyzed, which can be divided into three series, namely "The New Year", "The Meaning of Flowers in Vase" and "Enjoy Flowers in Sunny Day", showing the author's interpretation of the Qing offerings, festivals and my own emotions. The "New Year " series features vases of flowers and offerings, integrating common elements of the modern Spring Festival into the paintings, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere through the bright colors of Koji pottery, so that the audience can feel the atmosphere of the New Year. " The Meaning of Flowers in Vase " series takes the eight festivals of Lantern Festival, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Chongyang Festival, Winter Solstice and Teacher's Day as the theme, integrates the changes of the festival into the works, renders the time continuity of the first anniversary, draws materials from life, depicts related customs, scenery and symbols, expresses the author's image of the festival, as well as some folk auspicious symbols, and reflects people's yearning and blessings for beauty. " Enjoy Flowers in Sunny Day " series is repetitive flower images to show the meaning and the author's inner thoughts. Chapter 5 provides the conclusion, the experience of the creation research, and the future prospects.
