Global warming is a phrase that refers to the effects on the climate. The objectives of this study are to investigate and find out the causes and effects of global warming on the environment using stop-motion animation video entitle “let‟s feel the globe” as an interpretation.
This study attempted to demonstrate and interpret how human contributed significantly to the global warming through the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas), killing of the animals and larger-scale deforestation, which cause emissions to the atmosphere of large amounts of greenhouse gases, of which the most important is carbon dioxide. Such gases absorb infrared radiation emitted by the Earth‟s surface and act as blankets over the surface keeping it warmer than it would otherwise be.
More detailed understanding relies on numerical models of the climate that integrate the basic dynamical and physical equations describing the complete climate system. Many of the likely characteristics of the resulting changes in the climate (such as more frequent heat waves, increases in rainfall, increases in frequent and intensity of many extreme climate events) can be identified.
The study revealed that, the global warming causes a lot of effects on both human, animals, ecosystem and on the environment. It increases the occurrence of hurricanes, typhoon, and
storm which acts as a natural calamity to the environment. Due to the rised in temperature as
a result of the aboved mention, polar region ice / glacier melt causing an increased in sea level and flood. International action is being taken by the world‟s scientific and political communities to reduce the caused.
In this paper, the installation of electric fan and the world globe map are used as a back ground for filming the project.
The stop-motion animation video entitle Let’s Fell the Globe, will help to sensitize the people particularly the youths around the world who are the feature leaders of tomorrow to take full control of their environment to fight agaist this epidemic, simply because it is a powerful universal language anyone in the world can understand ranging from 10-90 years.
