Giovanni Battista Viotti (1755-1824), an Italian violinist and composer, was one of the important violinists in the eighteenth century.
Most of the works written by Viotti are based on stringed instruments. There are many types of works including solo, concerto, chamber music, etc. Among them, the number of violin works is the largest, and a total of twenty-nine violin concertos have been written. He established the violin school through playing and teaching, also spreading and developing it, which shows that his contribution and influence on the violin are very huge.
This research is focus on one of the classic works of Viotti, "Violin Concerto No. 22". Explaining the research motive , purpose, scope and methods, and understanding the influence of Viotti through introduce his life. This is the best way to realise the surrounding environment of the composer, and analyze the creative background and music analysis of this concerto. Finally, applying these to the performance, I hope that it is not only close to the original idea and correct style of the composer's creation, but also integrated into the author's interpretation, so that the music will have a different appearance.
