This article is based on my personal short animation《Looking for...》which discusses about the symbolic techniques in animation. The first chapter is a self-examination to my past creation learning process and creation cognition. And how TNNUA’s teachers improved my creation. The second chapter talks about my short film《Looking for...》, including creation motive, storyboard, visual design, characters design, motion design and developement. The third chapter research attainment is a review about the film’s content and procedure, range from symbolic techniques in《Looking for...》to the difference bewteen digital process and traditional animation manufacture process. The last chapter shows the anticipation to my future career.
