Theatre design （stage design) had been defined into different profession as set，costume，lighting…etc. But the boundary of each profession has become ambiguous accompanied by the development media art，especially in some avant-garde or experimental productions. The definition of set design， lighting design and projection design seem to be blurred. Hence，the circumscription has been merged into a controversial concept as “Performance Design”. With the narrative and creative character makes the design be the mediatization of communication. This thesis production “Love and Money” expound both the scenic and projection narrative character in Performance Design，referring to the theory by Jean Baudrillard’s （1929~2007）Simulacra，and other related media studies as the backbone of this media art oriented design work.
