This digital experimental animation " Stuck in Mud " uses the two identities of the suicide bereaved and the person accompanying who thinks of suicide as creative ideas. It uses a combination of multi-media materials, including: 3D imitation clay animation, 2D animation, and pinhole photography. Based on the difference of material mapping between 2D character and 3D character, it interpreted "the pull of the idea of survival and death", "the pull of the companion and the suicide attempter", and "the pull of the suicide bereaved and the suicide".
The literature discussion of the thesis includes three sections. The first section discusses suicide. It briefly describes the possible causes of suicide from a scientific point of view. In addition, it looks at the minds of suicide creators from an artistic point of view. In the second section, the suicide bereaved family, it describes the grief reaction of the suicide bereaved from a scientific perspective, and then further explores how the suicide bereaved’s grief reaction affects art creation. The third section is suicide film and television works. It introduces the film and television creations that include "suicide", and focuses on suicide film and television works drawn from the "instinct of life" and "instinct of death," and the film and television creations of the suicide bereaved are as a response to this. It learns the concepts in each work as a reference for this creation, and completes the self-narration through the creation of films
