In this thesis, we have study "Sonata for Piano and Violin in A Minor, op.105" composed by Robert Schumann, which contains the Florestan, Eusebius and Robert Schumann character in music. Via analyzing and discussing the influence of the three characters to the dramatic composing technique and the scenario of this work, and we give a concept of interpretation and ensemble.
This work mainly emphasizes the three characters of Schumann: The erotic Florestan, deliberate Eusebius and gloomy characters of Schumann himself. Two of the three characters which were created by Schumann reflect the suppression of himself in real life. Through music compositions, Schumann transformed his mind into real character and presented to people.
