Set off in the research of sentimental-evolution against to the working process of capturing the inward connotation, and the outward vibration while creating this project. In the course of reviewing creations on creator’s early stages, ample numbers of elements were found that have had repeatedly applied on the works since the beginning, such elements was framed from creator’s life experience, and embodied in new creations as the essence to implied the emotions, as for the structure, characters form the Classic of Mountains and Seas or Shanhaijing were adopted and yet, fused with art form of Steam Punk to vibrant the aesthetic. The project is titled in “Insufficient” and “Sufficient” to suggest the thesis, having characters from Shanhaijing as the portraits, their creepy flaws of physical structure of extra or sometimes shortage limbs which had perfectly rendered “Insufficient” and “Sufficient”, while the Steam Punk was consecutive to creator’s the original art from, meanwhile, the trait of contradiction was highlighted through the variation of materials and complex technique.
