Analysis Study and Interpretation of Viola Concerto mov. I by Béla Bartók

Béla Bartók(1881-1945) is a Hungarian composer and pianist, and also a ethnomusicologist. Zoltán Kodály(1882-1967) and he went deep into the contryside to collect rural music and shared these material to everyone to know. He also put these material into his own creation and made his work unique that he became an important composer of the 20th century.

The treatise outline about first movement of Bartók’s Viola Concerto. First, it will introduce about Bartók’s life and discuss his different periods of styles. Then discuss the origin of Viola Concerto and comparison of different versions. Finally, analyze the concerto and Interpretation.
