The central idea of this essay starts from “Myself”. I began to use Veneer Engraving as my creation media; till now, I use Crayon and Screen Printing for creation; also I create artworks in the form of Creation Diary. Emotion is the part that I care the most. In our daily lives, emotions have dominated our thoughts, and lead to the creations of artworks.
In this creation, I recorded the interactions and feelings of my daily surroundings. In daily lives, wewould always encounter different things, and with making friends through travel or observing surroundings, I put my spiritual thinking at the artworks I created. During the entire process, it not only reflects my life, and it helps me to have conversation with myself so as to further understand myself.
There are 5 parts in this chapter. First one focuses on the transformation during the time from university to graduate school; it elaborates the process where I create but also think, and stars to switch the media of Screen Printing. In second part, it discusses the artists that affected me and also has the similar creative topics as I do. The artist are Matisse and Dong Shaw-hwei，both of their discussions focused on the daily lives and similar topics. Third part of the chapter elaborates my creation concepts and analyses my creation form along with creation media. Fourth part is the artwork translation. The meaning of every artworks were all being analyzed. I also included the North-West artworks, which I created during the time I had my exchange student time at Bejing National Tsing Hua University in 2016. Last part is the summary of this creation research.
