Animals and toys played an important role in my childhood. Now, as I put together these two elements with ceramic art, the combination inspired rich creativity in me. Therefore, I developed my project based on the theme "virtual animals".

When working on virtual animals, I used the features of various creatures to echo different states of human emotion. The viewers can easily relate to their own emotions and sympathize with it. This way the works do not just imitate animal features, but show expressions of all kinds of emotions. They can be used as reference for changing moods and to achieve certain healing effects.

The project will be presented in a series of three. The first is for the anthropomorphic type of work, the second is to reproduce works look like toys, and the third will shape virtual animals into cultural and creative product designs. In the "Anthropomorphic" series, the works mainly express human emotion. They are infused with my own sentiment to communicate with the viewers. Through these works, I want to stir the feelings of the viewers as well as comfort them. For the "Toy" series, I created "virtual animals" based on my experience with toys. I want to pass-on the special relation between my toys and me to the viewers. Finally, I will convert these two groups of works into creative products that incorporate the imprint of virtual animals.
