With the development of technology, pure hearing or vision has been difficult to satisfy people. Whether the music videos for music or the custom music soundtrack for movies, they have become necessities for each other. However, due to insufficient budget or other reasons, some excellent music works have not been filmed and uploaded to video streaming platforms, which significantly reduces the chance of being circulated.
Although video and music sound closely related, there are a bunch of different details to pay attention to. It is not easy to become an expert on both sides. The creation part of this research is to combine what I have learned in the past, choose a special field in the music industry that suits me to discuss, and finally apply the music mood and image tone of the research to create an album - "no reason why", this album was a retrospective album of life experiences. The theme of the album is inspired by the phrase "Memento mori" in the ancient Greek Philosophical Stoics, which means "don't forget that people died in the end". If this is my last album, I want to document everything I've experienced so far and left a little footprint in this world. The "n" in no, the "o" in reason, and the "w" in why can form "now", which is exactly what this album wants to express. The past and the future are empty talks, only the present is real.
The tracks in the album will record the experiences and learnings of each stage of life, including events, and motivations, and then add relevant social issues to the lyrics. Finally, the musical mood and image tone of the research will be applied to the video production. Hope the combination with hearing creates an audio-visual two-way creation album that reaches people's hearts.
