The Neo Classicism which Jean Francaix represented, based on Impressionism’s duskiness and late German’s copious and romantic period’s complexity, in attempt to bring back the music structure in the 18th century, style and characteristics。 Therefore, the music that Jean Francaix composed represented harmonization and classy melody. And Lhorloge de Flore pour Hautbois Solo et Orchestre is definitely the composition of new classicalism which involved Jean Francaix’s personal style.
Carl Linnaeus, a Swedish Botanist and Zoologist, with the great discovery by Columbus which opened the European’s eyes, many scientists traveled over to the great land collecting several of different specimens. However, there were no standardized naming rule, names were given by each scientist’s preference for the plants and animals. Linnaeus then presented the “double naming system”, spending years of his life observing flower’s open and close timing each day, and came out with a flower clock by based on his observation.
