Modern-day Taiwan is dominated by the Han Chinese, with only 2% of the population being aborigines, however, the aborigines have a rich and diverse culture and also one of the most important cultural assets of Taiwan. In recent years, the government has organized several activities and competitions to promote the native languages and heritages, upgrading and promotion of culture, as well as offered various grants and adjusted the content of important awards. As a result, in the field of aboriginal pop music, more aboriginal and non-aboriginal musicians have become involved in the production of aboriginal pop music, enhancing the quality of aboriginal pop music and integrating more diverse musical styles. At the same time, it increases the exposure and popularity of aboriginal pop music productions, so that aboriginal pop music listeners can get to know their native language and enhance their self-identity through pop music.

Based on the author’s production of Atayal’s album “Sayun．Dozo”, this paper analyzes the album planning, lyric writing, music production process, and album design concept, the expected results are summarized as follows:

1. Integrating traditional Atayal culture and community issues into the album: integrating the experiences and difficulties encountered by urban and mountain aborigines, as well as integrating traditional music elements into the lyrics, music composition, and album design.

2. Implementation of album planning in music production and album design: the story of the album planning as the main theme, pre-defined the main target audiences, the title of each song, lyric outline, music style, song sequence arrangement, and cover design.

3. The blending of a diversified style of music presents Atayal language pop music: The album features a mix of classical music, African-American gospel music, hip-hop, big band, along with a cappella and other vocal styles.

4. Systematic music production process: Systematically, each process of music production is categorized and organized into workflows, and the details of each process are analyzed.
