Concerto is one important work from of instrumental music during the Baroque period. Bach (Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750) in order to create a new type of compositional technique, tried to arrange the performance of the concerto from orchestra ensemble to solo instrument. Firstly this writer will start with the background of Bach's life to provide some information about Italy and the Concerto, then the writer will continue with some background on Bach's life to gather more information on Italy and the Concerto form. A search on those important composers whose works influenced Bach.will also be discussed. Further materials for analysis will be on the structure of the whole concerto form in relationship to the established form of the concerto with their ripieno, concertino, solo and tutti effects.
