In Spanish, the movie title is “La Cura” that means “The Cure”, which is a reference to the feeling of temporary relief attained through denial of things that one cannot accept. Whereas for the Chinese version of the title, and after endless discussions, the film is finally called【盲果】。 As I will develop later in this report, the main theme of the movie is Self-denial; and as long as self-denial is involved, I’ve distinguished 4 types of 盲點，therefore the Chinese translation has 盲 in its title.

This report begins with a description of the story background and the director’s introduction. After the literature review and film research regarding self-denial topics I will explain the style, basic structure of this film and the director’s methods. And last but not least, come a full account of the execution of the film and its premiere followed by the transcript of the Q&A discussion recorded in the audience forum that day.
