This study mainly discusses the concept of traditional good fortune images in the present day, combining with the events that happen in daily life, as well as national and international events, global warming and climate changing issues that advocated in recent years. When creating the paintings, the painter transferred and combined the Chinese traditional images and daily used products and any scene in the present day as the topics, hoping through these paintings, they can convey and represent painter’s personal feelings and ideas about this world. They can be the ideas about those people who especially focus on pursuing profits or power, global warming or economic development issues in the whole world.

This study discusses through the borrowing of Chinese traditional images, the transformation of using the concept of traditional auspicious meanings within the paintings with some daily necessaries and images of modern life. In these paintings, the meaning of Chinese traditional images may be changed or combined with other meanings. This study also includes the process of creating these works, along with the new meanings and concepts of the traditional images that are used in the paintings. On the other hand, because of the changing and the borrowing of these images’ meanings, the audience can have different understandings and comprehensions of the paintings.
