東吳大學 / 音樂學系 / Author:HUANG, CHIEN-TAI

Spanish traditional music is a product of different foreign cultures, often combining elements of music, art and dance. In the piano works of composer Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909), harmony, rhythms and forms taken directly from traditional Spanish music pervade in his works, bringing new piano sounds to the classical piano repertoire.

España, Op. 165 is a suite for piano comprised of 6 pieces. Prélude, Tango, Malagueña, Serenata, Capricho Caltalán and Zortzico.
