Desire contains emotion affection, physical affection, materialistic, creation, etc. The artist feels an intense physical and emotion affection to a woman she desired and transforming the desire into an inspiration then turning the inspiration on plants as a source of design inspiration.
The plant named "Nepenthes", seems as female reproductive organs, a "Maternal Space (Chora)", it's a concept of all desires are in it, the pitcher cup is shaped as vagina; the peristome as soft as pubic hair; the peristome-edge as tender as labia.
The artist combines own desires and Nepenthes to create a craftwork by using metal materials, also, reflecting, exploring, understanding the work itself and the author's own self during the process.
