Ernest Bloch (1880-1959) 's music shows a great diversity, perhaps because he has lived in many countries, which has given him different creative motivations and sources of inspiration. He conducted the Boston Symphony Orchestra to premiere "Three Jewish Poems" in March 1916, and also premiere "Solomon: Hebraic Rhapsody for Violoncello and Orchestra" by soloist Hans Kindler (1892-1949). Get a great response from the audience, he performed a series of "Jewish" works with the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in January 1918. After contracting with G. Schirmer to publish a series of Jewish works, he established a Jewish identity in the minds of everyone. This essay will explore and study the elements of Gypsy music and Jewish ethnic music, and how these elements are used in Bloch's "Solomon: Hebraic Rhapsody", then interpretation of performance.
