"in the Name of GOD " is a work compiled and created by Wang, Heng in search of the relationship between the body and sociality. This work is conceived from the perspective of myself and my living place, "Taiwan". I have been constructing my own identity under the influence of my family, the media, teachers, friends, and society, and I do not doubt any information I come into contact with. But in recent years, through travel, reading, etc., my cognition of identity has been subverted and many questions have arisen. I am also curious about the multi-ethnic identities unique to being born on the island "Taiwan", which has been continuously colonized in history. And interestingly, my home is also the result of a complex mix of Taiwanese history. My father is from a provincial family, but his ancestors are of Dutch ancestry; while my mother is a second generation from another province, and the whole family moved here because of the war. In these two very different contexts, I am very confused as to how my identity should be defined. I think I am neither a native of the province nor a native of the province, and if I explain it with different history, it seems that there will be different answers, so how can I believe it?

The work starts from the choreographer's observation of society and how to interfere with the work, and analyzes "God Wants to Build a Kingdom" from different perspectives by collecting data from the early, middle and late stages of rehearsal, as well as the work notes and records of the design and drama consultants. creative process and finished product.
