Almost everyone has imaginary companions when we were little. It always stays with us to overcome our hard time, and share our happy moment together. However we do not have many animation stories which focus on imaginary companions. The 2D animation “The Kid with Rocky” is telling an adventure story of a little kid with its imaginary companion - a stone. With this animation, I can acquire more narrative techniques of descripting character emotion and help the audience to understand not only the relevant knowledge, but the meaning and value of fantasy friend in life.
