Art has enriched life and originated from life, and the two complement each other intimately. Studying art makes one's emotions and perceptions come alive, then one will feel sensitive that there are sights around every corner. The beauty of weeds and wildflowers can be appreciated even in the crevices of the roadside walls. The dilapidated houses and tiles in one corner of the alley can make the artist's eyes light up, and one can feel the beauty of the artistic conception of the sight despite its desolation. The sight seems to have a story in it that is thought-provoking. The art creator has transformed what one sees and what one thinks into the artistic nutrients to create a work that expresses its meaning and allows the viewer to think about its meaning. What a wonderful thing.

The author's paper, “Universal Nature: The Stiffness of the Heart” is based on a study of ink and color, and is created using figures as the subject matter and ink and color as the medium. At this stage of creation, the author took self-view and observed the people, events, and things in the surrounding to extend and inspire the creation, which was divided into four series: (1) The Stiffness of the Heart Series (2) Reflecting Heart and Love Series (3) Timeline Series (4) Warmth and Laughter of Amity Series. The author's perspective was used for self-observation and explored the subtle emotional relationships between people, family, friends, and pets. Observing the modern society, the impact of technological advancement on the life of the public and the environment, as well as some social phenomena derived from sub-replacement fertility, and advocating the importance of environmental protection in the living environment. The author has been inspired by these social phenomena and has been reflecting on and exploring them. By using all aspects of social life as the subject of painting and reflecting the stories that are happening around us nowadays to create, and expressing self through artistic creation to record the present moment. In the creative works, some of them are presented in a more humorous style, expecting that this style of creation will be more accessible to the public.
