This thesis uses the combination of text and music as the research motivation. Through the combination of different singing styles and the collocation of voice and instruments, the author talks about the work "3:30 a.m." In this thesis, the "text" mentioned is the lyrics or the symbol sung by singer, not the source of the lyrics. In the first chapter, "Relationship between Text and Music", the author classifies different singing types or styles according to the difference in the proportion of the emphasis on text and music, and proposes the characteristics and representative works of each category. In Chapter two, "Music Works Affecting Composing" take the work of "Akstichon-Wortspiel" by Unsuk Chin (b. 1961) as an example, and explore the design and presentation methods of text and music. In Chapter three, " Exemplification of My Own Work", it describes how the text combined with music in the author's work "3:30 a.m."
